Bye bye Lipstick Jungle

I’m assuming this week’s episode of Lipstick Jungle is the last of the series because the ending seemed a bit weird to be a normal weekly episode. I am happy that they ended it well and wrapped up most of the stories. Wendy and her family are OK and happy. Nico is back with Kirby and happy. Victory is with Joe and getting married and happy. It was happy overall.

I’m sad to say goodbye but I don’t seem to have a choice. Boo NBC. Bye bye Lipstick Jungle.

The Bitter End

I started to watch the Lipstick Jungle from this week and realized that I missed an episode. I’m currently watching the missed episode online.

I’m not sure how I feel about Nico and the boss man at her office but I do like the newbie girl. I wonder if she’ll come between them in the end… maybe? I also loved when Nico was just coming out of it when she was at the hospital and she was all whacked out. It was super! And Kirby. Is he still digging Nico? Why did he ask her to go to Aspen with him?

I’m also not feeling very excited about Shane and Wendy fighting. Shane wants to leave town on tour but Wendy wants to bring the whole family. Bla bla bla. The most ironic part of the entire episode was when Wendy was left at the bar when the hubs went out to party… the bar’s name was “The Bitter End”. Of course, they worked it out and Shane is going on the tour and Wendy plans on visiting him.

Last but not least, my favorite of all the ladies, Victory. She was proposing to Mr. Billionaire and was planning on making a crazy ass plan to do it… but of course he’s all “busy” and misses the Friday night date. Ouch. He didn’t even call her to tell her that he wasn’t coming. Victory drank a whole bottle of bubbly alone (and I know that can make you drunk as a skunk!) but manages to look less than drunk. Well, at least the next day she went to yell at him on the pier and he told her that he’s no longer Mr. Billionaire. And then the proposal. And then he gives her a big kiss. Does that mean yes?

Has anyone else noticed that everyone on this show has an iPhone? I’m kinda jealous!!

Waiting for the end

I’ve been watching Lipstick Jungle every week now just waiting for the last episode. Does anyone know when that is???

I’m digging that Nico is finally doing the baby thing for herself. Yes, she may be alone, but she’s doing it for the right reasons and I think that’s really good for her. She’s always been somewhat dependent on the man in her life and now she’s being strong and freezing some of her eggs for later IF she wants to have a baby.

I also love that Victory and Joe are finally back together. I liked them together in the beginning because he was a bagillionaire and she didn’t care. She wasn’t after him for the money. She wasn’t after him for the gifts. She just loved him and good for her! Then they had that silly fight and the stupid contractor… but now they are back together and it’s great. I’m loving it. If there’s another episode, I look forward to seeing her propose to him.

As for Wendy and her husband, I never liked them together anyway because she’s a huge amazon and he’s this tiny little man and it’s just weird. So I’m glad that they are most likely going to split up. Of course, her son being all dramatic made me dislike him when I guess I shouldn’t feel that way but moody children make me cringe!

So there you have it… my short thoughts on Lipstick Jungle. Honestly, I think a good time to stop the show is right now. At least 2 of the peeps are happy. Right?

It’s a jungle out there

Wow. I freaking LOVED this week’s episode of Lipstick Jungle!

Wendy was fired! Crazy! I never thought we’d see that! What will she do now? Will she stay at home now? Will she find a new job?

Victory and her contractor. Hot.

Nico and her boytoy… and Nico totally convincing that jerk to leave the company. Awesome! I love Nico the most!

I didn’t particularly like the guy from Las Vegas being the head honcho. I think he’s too young and arrogant. I didn’t like his character. I wonder if he’s permanent.

Also, I hope that Mr. Billionaire is happy now that he’s fully alienated his former love by being a complete dick.

Premiere week

I was so excited about premiere week and I still haven’t had the chance to watch everything off my DVR. I haven’t watched SVU yet which is one of my favorites ever… So much has been going on. A close friend of mine was in a coma and passed away on Saturday so I was a bit preoccupied.

Overall, here’s a mini recap of my thoughts on the shows of the week:

Life: Still love it. Can’t wait to find out more about the girl in the wall.

Heroes: Many thought it wasn’t that good of a premiere but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can’t wait to see more and learn what’s up with Mohinder’s grossness.

House: Still haven’t had the chance to watch this week’s episode yet.

Gossip Girl: LOVE the new biatch in town. Oh wait… that’s just Serena pre-boring Dan.

Privileged: Still enjoying this series. I’d like to see more between the two sisters and find out what the big deal is between them. It has to be more than just stealing a boyfriend. Right?

Lipstick Jungle: I can’t believe Cain Rogan (husband of Nico) is dead. Is she going to run back to her young lover? What will happen with Topanga? Is she going to have Cain’s baby? Eek! Can’t wait to see more of this show!!!

Law and Order SVU: Haven’t watched the episode yet

The Mentalist: Simon Baker is hot. I love this show. He is pure hotness.

Jon and Kate plus 8: Rerun… or it’s just a “new” episode that shows clips that we’ve seen in previous shows. Boring. I didn’t even bother watching.

NCIS: Haven’t watched yet

Ugly Betty: Cute and funny… as usual. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Betty and her new independent life. Her aparment looked great after all that fixing up.

Grey’s Anatomy: More hot army doctor please (he’s the Scottish guy from that Patrick Dempsey romance movie, by the way).

Criminal Minds: Haven’t seen it yet

This upcoming week is filled with more new season premieres. We have Dirty Sexy Money, The Starter Wife, Samantha Who?, Private Practice, The Ex List, and I believe the CSIs start this week as well. Get excited! More TV! Man… I have a whole lotta catching up to do in the next few days!!!

Also, I’m still watching Bones on DVD to catch up. The season 3 DVDs won’t come out til November but that’s ok with me.

Lipstick drama

I’m watching Lipstick Jungle from nbc.com and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I LOVE the drama that is going on. Apparently Cain Rogan (aka Nico’s husband) has died from complications from his surgery or something and she just found out that he was also putting together a case of abandonment so that she would have to pay him alimony. Now he’s dead and she’s single again. I wonder if she’ll get back with the young boy. Also, she had some shot for her Gspot to be uber sensitive and insane.

Victory is looking to rebrand herself and find a new place for her atelier. Of course the place of her dreams is owned by her billionaire ex lover. And she refuses to take it until she realized that if she doesn’t take it that he has control over her. Her billionaire ex wants her back but she is totally pushing him away.

Wendy’s family is having problems because her daughter is in “prison” because she was caught using a fake ID to get into a bar. Good thing Mommy was there to catch her. Her mother is also in town and staying with her. Surprise surprise! Her mother is also a criticizing biatch.
