Life ending

The second season of Life has just ended. Of course, Crews ended up being the super awesome good guy and got Reese back from the bad guys… he also gave himself up so that she could be free and then he kills Roman in the car and frees all the other goons from their keeper. It was interesting. Strangely, the episode ends with us basically finding out that Crews is in love with Reese and she might be in love with him. 1+1=1. Are they gonna get together now??

Terrible at Life!

Jeez… I need to set Life on my TiVo because I keep forgetting that the show exists. I now have 3 or 4 episodes to catch up on. I look forward to finding out who shot Crews.

How did I miss this?

Since I can only record so many shows at the same time, I missed a recording of Life in December. It was like a cliffhanger episode that would then segway into the January return… Crews got shot!

So now I ask the questions that should have been asked about a month ago…

Who shot him?

Why did he get shot?

Did he die for a moment and return to his cell?

What’s going to happen to him?

Returning shows

I need to make a mental note of setting my TiVo (yes, I got TiVo for Christmas!) for these returning shows so… here’s my mental note:

The Closer – returns January 26, 9pm on TNT

Medium – returns February 2, 10pm on NBC

Life – returns February 4, 9pm on NBC

Heroes – returns February 2, 9pm on NBC

Mr. and Mrs. Crews

I’m not sure how I feel about Charlie and his ex-wife having an affair. If they wanted to get back together, couldn’t she just leave her husband? I guess it’s more complicated than that, but I am just not sure if I like it. Very weird.

I also find myself not understanding the little clues that they keep giving about the spider web in the closet. Tropical fruit gum. Uh… ok? So when are we going to find out what that means??

Also, what’s with Reese being such a tease? Does she like the captain or is she just playing hard to get? Is she just not interested? It was a cute gesture for him to get her a gold fish. Very cute. Too bad she stormed out all pissed.

Prison Break

I thoroughly enjoyed last week’s episode of Life. I liked the dynamic of seeing Crews back in the “prison” world. I thought the professor was super messed up trying to fuck with everyone’s head… but I guess it worked in the end, right?

I’m interested to see where they are going with Jack Reese’s business. Does this mean that Jack Reese wasn’t in on the conspiracy? Or was he in and now he wants out?

I’m also digging the fact that the wife is totally pining for her ex-hubs now that he asked her husband to have sex with her. I like their dynamic and I hate it at the same time. I wish Crews would get a new love interest but this one is also interesting because it’s not really over but it’s over. It’s weird.

Also, what is up with the timing of this show? Sometimes it plays on Monday nights… sometimes it plays on Friday nights. It’s confusing. I’m glad my DVR knows what it’s doing because I have no idea when this show plays!

Has she changed sides?

I just finished watching this week’s Life. I really enjoy the dynamic between Crews and Reese. At first I thought they would be an interesting couple… but now I think she’s got something going with the Captain. Anyway… I enjoyed seeing her defy her father and ask if he put an innocent man in jail. Has she changed sides? Is she now on Crews’ side? Will she now try and help him figure out the conspiracy against him?

On a side note, why does Crews have to be obsessed with his ex wife? I don’t really like her and I think her husband is annoying. I wish he’d just get a new love interest so that we can see him start a new relationship. Those are pretty much my only thoughts on the show right now.

Premiere week

I was so excited about premiere week and I still haven’t had the chance to watch everything off my DVR. I haven’t watched SVU yet which is one of my favorites ever… So much has been going on. A close friend of mine was in a coma and passed away on Saturday so I was a bit preoccupied.

Overall, here’s a mini recap of my thoughts on the shows of the week:

Life: Still love it. Can’t wait to find out more about the girl in the wall.

Heroes: Many thought it wasn’t that good of a premiere but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can’t wait to see more and learn what’s up with Mohinder’s grossness.

House: Still haven’t had the chance to watch this week’s episode yet.

Gossip Girl: LOVE the new biatch in town. Oh wait… that’s just Serena pre-boring Dan.

Privileged: Still enjoying this series. I’d like to see more between the two sisters and find out what the big deal is between them. It has to be more than just stealing a boyfriend. Right?

Lipstick Jungle: I can’t believe Cain Rogan (husband of Nico) is dead. Is she going to run back to her young lover? What will happen with Topanga? Is she going to have Cain’s baby? Eek! Can’t wait to see more of this show!!!

Law and Order SVU: Haven’t watched the episode yet

The Mentalist: Simon Baker is hot. I love this show. He is pure hotness.

Jon and Kate plus 8: Rerun… or it’s just a “new” episode that shows clips that we’ve seen in previous shows. Boring. I didn’t even bother watching.

NCIS: Haven’t watched yet

Ugly Betty: Cute and funny… as usual. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Betty and her new independent life. Her aparment looked great after all that fixing up.

Grey’s Anatomy: More hot army doctor please (he’s the Scottish guy from that Patrick Dempsey romance movie, by the way).

Criminal Minds: Haven’t seen it yet

This upcoming week is filled with more new season premieres. We have Dirty Sexy Money, The Starter Wife, Samantha Who?, Private Practice, The Ex List, and I believe the CSIs start this week as well. Get excited! More TV! Man… I have a whole lotta catching up to do in the next few days!!!

Also, I’m still watching Bones on DVD to catch up. The season 3 DVDs won’t come out til November but that’s ok with me.

Life is what he found

Last year I didn’t know about a show called Life… but over the summer I got bored and I watched it. It was GREAT. I freaking loved it. I watched episodes while at work to keep myself busy when it was quiet and I got hooked. I just watched the season premiere and I’m excited. I can’t wait to find out what the deal is with the conspiracy against the cop. Of course, his name has slipped my mind. Oops!

Anyway, he finally found the girl that he has been looking for and who knows what’s going to happen now. When he found her, he told her that the fire told him to get her. What does that mean? I can’t really remember so I think I need a little reminder. Anyone?
