Many thoughts on many shows

October 26, 2009 · Leave a Comment

So I have totally been watching TV, I promise… I am just not glued to my computer anymore. I guess that could be a good thing or a bad thing. I do miss listening to the radio all day and watching so many TV shows but I am also glad to be moving around more and losing weight from simply not being sitting around all day. :) So… here are a few thoughts on some shows I’ve been watching and a few thoughts on other stuff I’m sure you want to read about…

Heroes:

  • I love Peter Petrelli. Honestly, without him, I wouldn’t watch the show.
  • I read that they are going to kill off a Hero this season and I think it’ll be Hiro. It’s supposed to be one of the original heroes and that it’ll affect quite a few people. Makes me kinda sad but Hiro’s been getting pretty darn annoying lately. At least we haven’t had to watch Ando… which kinda makes things better.
  • Claire’s lesbian kiss was weird and they didn’t even address it after it happened. Very very weird. Also probably unnecessary. Anyone else with me on that one? If they are going to develop a gay storyline, they should do it right, not sloppy.
  • Sylar. WELCOME BACK BABY! I love Sylar and I’m happy that he’s having a come back.
  • I think the carnival people are a bit freaky and weird and I’m not sure if I like them yet. That head leader guy seems like a real douche. I don’t know if I think that because I’m supposed to think that or if it’s just something that I’m catching that others don’t agree on. Eh…
  • Can’t wait til tonight’s Halloween episode!

Castle:

  • I stopped watching Castle after the 2nd episode of the season and I don’t even miss it. I do follow Nathan Fillion on Twitter so I guess that makes it OK for me to quit. Sorry Nathan. I loved you on OLTL but Castle is just another boring procedural show.

90210:

  • I haven’t seen a single episode this season nor have I heard anything about any of the episodes. I’m guessing that it’s not that interesting… which doesn’t surprise me since the first season was only so-so.

Bones:

  • Are we ever going to get some Booth and Brennan action? I know that everyone said that Booth would get over his love for Brennan but it doesn’t look like it’s going away. Will it ever go away? Are we ever going to see them together?
  • I LOVED the storyline about the devout muslim who faked an accent. How awesome was that!? Living in a state where religious is pretty much ridiculed, I completely understand why someone would do that. I hate it when people criticize my faith. Who are they to decide what I should believe in? Yay writers of that episode!
  • Annoying screechy girl is back. You know the one, the psychiatrist’s girlfriend. I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing but I did have a good laugh when Bones and that girl were going a bit apeshit over the cover of some anthropological magazine. Lovely entertainment.

Criminal Minds:

  • I’m tired of Hotchner. I wish he’d leave the show. Maybe he can go where his ex-wife and kid are? I’d really like that.
  • The girl who plays JJ has lost weight. She looks lovely. I also love the bangs on her.

CSI:NY:

  • I find it very unbelievable when characters on TV are paralyzed and the next day they are walking with a cane. Get real folks. It’s not very believable at allllllllllll… Ugh!
  • I should quit this show because it’s getting pretty lame. Sad!

Gossip Girl:

  • I heard that the show has lost a lot of viewers. It doesn’t surprise me. It’s like Dawson’s Creek. It does well when they are in high school and then when they go to college, it’s totally lame.
  • Blair and Chuck are pretty boring. Blair manipulates Chuck, Chuck manipulates Blair… what else is new?
  • Serena is still lame and retarded. Why do they write her as a complete idiot?
  • I like Hilary Duff’s character. I hope she’s around all season.

Law & Order: SVU:

  • Yay the evil witch DA is gone! I hated her from the moment she arrived. Of course, my husband said that I was supposed to hate her… so I guess I did a good job! :)
  • I would like a few Finn and Munch episodes, please. Give Olivia and Elliott a break please!

Lie to Me:

  • The season has been OK. I could probably quit this show too because it’s not that awesome.
  • Are the two owners of the Lightman group going to hook up? I think they want each other deep deep down inside. Anyone else with me on that one?

Mad Men:

  • Holy smokies! This show is so freaking awesome.
  • I love to hate Don Draper but I also hate to love him! It’s so frustrating!
  • I wish Betty would have slept with that politician guy. It would have been so nice to see after watching Don cheat on her time and time again.
  • I don’t like the name Eugene either so I don’t blame Don for hating it.
  • Does anyone else think that Don hates Roger because Roger is just an older version of Don? Don probably sees himself in Roger in the mistakes that he’s made. Can’t wait to see that blow up!
  • There are only 2 episodes left and I haven’t even watched the one from last night. What the heck am I waiting for?

Medium:

  • I finally started watching the new CBS season of Medium. It’s ok. Another show that I could probably drop. Honestly, why do I keep saying that and I don’t actually drop them?
  • Patricia Arquette has new hair.
  • The acting is just as unstimulating. Eh.
  • I’ll give it a bit longer before I give up.

NCIS:

  • Ziva is back and I still love the dynamic that she has with Dinozzo. I wish they’d finally kiss and make up and do the nasty. You know they want to. Has anyone else noticed a theme in pretty much all shows? There’s always a hero and heroine that love each other but don’t admit it. Oh the sexual tension!

Private Practice:

  • Violet is annoying with her whole “my baby was cut out of me and I’m crazy now” story. I wish she’d just be cured already. Maybe this week after the trial she’ll look at her kid?
  • The dude from Wings is also getting pretty annoying. I liked him better as the playboy. He’s now just a boring dad. Eh. See what kids do to you? It’s not pretty.
  • Please give Addison a love interest. Give her that heart surgeon, give her a new man… give her someone. I’m tired of listening to her feel sorry for herself.

The Mentalist:

  • Simon Baker is hot. I love him. I would totally have his babies… but the show is getting old real fast.
  • I will probably keep watching it though because Simon Baker is hot and I love him and want to have his babies.
  • Please not that babies make people boring (see Private Practice notes above) so I don’t really want his babies.
  • Simon Baker is hot hot hot.

Ugly Betty:

  • At the end of last season, I was ready to give up on Ugly Betty. Happily, the season started and it was better than I anticipated. I like that Betty’s look is changing. I like that her ex is a dorky douche. I like that she’s friends with her old boss. I like that she’s been promoted!
  • I still love Mark and that blond chick. Honestly, I can’t think of her name but she’s gorgeous (Becky Newton is the actress). Oy. Anyway, they are still awesome. But I do think that Mark needs some kind of promotion as well. He deserves it.
  • Wilhemina’s daughter’s murder storyline is lame. But I’ll take it because the rest is good.
  • Will Daniel get another love interest? Hmmmm…

Grey’s Anatomy:

  • I like the way they are hiding Ellen Pompeo’s surgery and hope that they can keep it up nicely until her return from maternity leave (which you won’t actually see because they were pretty clever when getting the schedule done)
  • I’m happy that Izzie is gone but I’m sad to learn that she’s coming back. Boring!
  • Alex needs a new love. I thought I liked him with Izzie but it’s just lame now. They made him into a jerk jerk and not a fun jerk. I liked him with Addison. Too bad she’s in LA and he’s in Seattle. Lame!
  • Bailey is not up to the normal standards these days. I wish they’d pull her back together, give her a bit more comedy and let her care again.
  • I kinda miss George.
  • I still hate the new folks from the other hospital.

I will probably post about my soaps later but my hubby is waiting to hang out and today is his birthday so I guess he deserves a bit of my attention! :) Take it easy folks and I swear I’ll try and post more often. Maybe I’ll start doing a once a week thing? Mondays maybe? That could totally be easier than writing a post for every show. Hmmm… I might be on to something! Maybe I’ll even start rating the weeks to see which weeks are better for each show!

Grey’s Anatomy Premiere

September 28, 2009 · 1 Comment

My sister told me that she thought the premiere for GA was boring and she wanted to delete the season pass on her TiVo because it was lame and GA is no longer what it used to be… Me, on the other hand, I thought it was pretty good!

So George is dead. Izzie is alive. I know that you probably all knew that but now you know for sure. We sadly had to watch Katherine Heigl be all screechy throughout the episode but I guess I’ll tolerate it since everyone else was pretty good.

The episode basically follows the 40 or some days after George died and how everyone is dealing with their grief. Here’s the run down on what’s going on with everyone:

Meredith didn’t cry… at least she didn’t cry until a janitor emptied his locker in front of her a month later. Good thing Derek was there to make her feel better. They also had a lot of “married” sex in this episode. Weird.

Izzie made the decision that George would want all his organs donated and then had to deal with Karev not wanting to touch her or anything all episode. Then she got all hysterical and we had to watch that. Argh. She was a big fat mess when when saw dead George.

Callie was also a fucking crazy mess and started to hyperventilate when he died. She was also given the responsibility to decide what to do with George’s body/organs because she’s technically his wife. She also moved to another hospital because the chief was treating her like she wasn’t awesome.

Lexie was first in denial that George was the John Doe. She then had to befriend one of the patients because she was abandoned by her fake friends. She also had to write this girl’s mother some lying emails about her daughter’s condition. It was a strange friendship because Lexie always seems to want to be friends with everyone but she didn’t really want to be friends with this girl. Lex also moved in with McSteamy. McSteamy now lives across the hall from Callie.

Bailey refuses to care now that George is dead. She’s completely devastated that he’s dead but refuses to show it. She acts like she has no feelings at all at work until Derek talks to her and then she kinda breaks down and admits that she cares too much… but that’s what makes her a good doctor. Go Bailey.

Who else? Oh yeah, Cristina and Owen. They are still together. Cristina just acts inappropriate throughout the episode because she’s deprived of sex. She says the most outrageous things to everyone and upsets them. She’s still an awesome doctor and all but she’s just mildly crazy with some diarrhea of the mouth. She and Owen are dealing with his therapy and it finally gets out that they need to talk about his trauma. When they finally have sex (after abstaining for quite a while, I’m guessing), Cristina breaks down realizing that George is dead.

This episode was pretty sad because you basically get to watch everyone freak out and break down over George’s death… but it also probably could have been an hour long instead of 2 hours. Just saying…

A few of my own thoughts on these characters and their plots:

  • Meredith and Derek are fucking boring. Please do something interesting with them.
  • Izzie should die after all because she’s just annoying. Get rid of her.
  • Karev needs to be a dick again. I don’t like this pussy cat act of his. Where’s the fun snarky guy that we had in all the past seasons?
  • The chief has become a crazy psycho. I wish we’d see less of him since he doesn’t really do anything special in terms of doctoring.
  • Mercy and Seattle Grace merged. Interesting. I wonder who’s going to be leaving…
  • Lexie and McSteamy = good.
  • Arizona = please send her away.
  • Bailey is awesome. Keep her the same.
  • Cristina and Owen… I love them. I can’t wait to see what happens with their relationship.
  • Are we going to be meeting some new doctors now that the hospital is merging? I can’t wait to see what kind of characters are going to come out of this. :)

The Canadian promo for this week’s episode is better than the American one so here it is:

Grey’s Anatomy finale… part 2

May 15, 2009 · 2 Comments

Holy crap. I don’t even know where to start!!

So a girl was waiting at the bus stop… and she was about to walk in front of a bus and the kind man next to her pushed her out of the way and was dragged by a bus. You couldn’t see his face because he was all caved in. He couldn’t speak. She stood by him as he went through hell… the doctors wanted to save him. He goes into the OR and everyone finds out that he’s 007. He’s George O’Malley. Wow. I can’t even believe they did that. That was so incredibly crazy.

Izzie woke up from her surgery. Derek got the whole tumor out… and she’s so happy! Until she can’t remember. And so they tell her again… and she’s so happy! And then she can’t remember. It’s crazy. So Karev goes insane trying to help her regain her memory and when he finally busts out and tells her that she’s just like a vegetable, SHE REMEMBERS!

Of course, this memory returning business lasts about 5 minutes… then Izzie’s heart gives up and she’s dead… but Karev insists on them doing CPR and shocking her back to life. Only she doesn’t! She’s getting back into the elevator like she did on “prom” night. She’s in the elevator and the doors open. O’Malley is in front of her in his uniform. Are they both dead? We don’t know.

Derek and Meredith also have a fake wedding in this episode. It was kinda boring but whatever. I don’t watch the show for them anyway.

Owen and Cristina get back together. She finally admits that she can’t live without him. It’s so sweet. I heart them together. A lot.

Bailey decides against going into peds because her husband gave her an ultimatum. He told her either her family or her career. Instead, she chose to stay in general surgery and leave her husband. She knows it would be too hard for her to start a new specialty and be a single mom so she puts herself and her child before everyone. I love Bailey. I hope her husband goes to hell! That’s me thinking that these people are real…

Oy. This season finale was insane. I can’t believe it. I’m now waiting for my sister to watch it so that we can discuss all this insanity. Argh! What will happen next season? I guess we know that Izzie and George will be dead because the actors wanted to get out of their contracts with the show. Sadness. I love George and I wish he would have stayed!

Grey’s Anatomy finale… part 1

May 15, 2009 · Leave a Comment

So this part 1 is the beginning of the end. First, Izzie has to decide if she wants a surgery that’s might make her lose her memory or even kill her. She refuses because Meredith tells her that she didn’t remember anything during a test to find out how she might react to the surgery…

Cristina and Owen are sorta working through things and he goes to see his mom after not telling her that he’s been back for a very long time. She’s all in lurve and stuff and can’t let him go. She’s also there for Izzie all the time and that’s awesome because we never really see Cristina there for anyone except herself and Meredith.

Karev is struggling with the fact that Izzie could die. He tells her that he believes she should make her own decision about the surgery and then goes back when she decides against it. In the end, Izzie goes for the surgery and signs a DNR. Karev goes apeshit but he accepts it.

The Chief is also trying to steal Bailey back to his service because he doesn’t want to lose her and he even bought a robot for her to play with so that she would stay with general surgery. It’s weird but it’s kinda working! Arizona shows Bailey the joy in her work and now Bailey is probably torn.

Owen, Callie, and George are working on an army kid. He wants them to amputate his leg so that he can get a prosthetic and then rejoin the army. He’s talking about how people need him and he has to go back to Iraq. I guess something clicks in George’s brain because he goes and signs up with the army. I guess this is the end of George. At least they gave him a somewhat reasonable and nice exit. Unlike the Izzie death crap.

Well, I’m off to watch part 2. I hope Izzie dies. It would make for some seriously awesome finale scenes.

Grey’s Wedding

May 8, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I’m starting to think that this show is really starting to go down the tubes… It’s so predictable now that EVERYONE knew that Izzie and Karev would get married and not Meredith and Derek. I’m glad they did it though and I’m glad that they are making Izzie die because she doesn’t want to be on the show and this way they can bring on newer more interesting people. Who knows. Maybe they’ll name some new clinic after her now.

So Izzie and Karev are married. He was so sweet when they were getting married and after she shaved her head. It was cute. Izzie was beautiful and I liked that she was tired halfway down the aisle and they didn’t make it seem like everything was better just because she was getting married.

I’m still not interested in Arizone and Callie. They are boring and now that Callie has been disowned, I am still uninterested. Blah on them. I always wanted Callie with McSteamy. Speaking of the Mcs… Whatever happened to them all calling each other McNames? And using seriously? Hmmm…

Next week is the finale… Check it out:

Wedding planner extraordinaire!

April 24, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Grey’s Anatomy is back after what feels like FOREVER! I’m guessing that this is the final stretch to the end of the season and I’m glad it has come because I was getting bored not watching anything on Fridays at work. :)

Izzie is the new wedding planner and she’s also getting some terrible side effects to her chemo and treatment. Of course, she completely hides it from everyone and pretends that she’s feeling well and even pretends that she’s hungry… but on the side she’s barfing and feeling terrible. It’s only once she collapses that everyone realizes that she’s not as well as she seems.

O’Malley finally figures out that his specialty is trauma and that he’s really awesome under pressure. Owen kinda takes him under his wing and together, I’m sure they’ll develop a bond of two broken men. It should be interesting. I honestly thought that O’Malley would be gone by now but I’m glad that he’s still around. I’m actually kinda sad that he’s leaving the show. T.R. Knight is such a talented actor… it’s a shame that the GA writers are treating him like shit!

Karev is trying to be a good boyfriend to Izzie but he’s struggling with the fact that she’s really sick. He also takes out all his anger and frustration out on O’Malley and that sucks. In the end, O’Malley kicks ass and Karev is left standing alone like a moron. I enjoyed the scene at the end where they are commiserating at the bar and Karev admits that he’s a dick and that he’s scared. O’Malley, always the better man, offers him his beer and they act all manly together.

Callie outs herself to her dad and in the end gets cut off from her trust fund. Somehow, I’m not really sad for her. Actually, I have no interest whatsoever in this storyline. I have nothing against the lesbian storylines (I actually enjoyed her with the heart surgeon lady… forgot her name already!) but Callie and Arizona are BORING. They have no chemistry and it feels forced. Why couldn’t Callie just be a strong single woman? I don’t understand why everyone has to be in a couple.

And last but not least, the feud between Derek and Mark. Derek is still pissed that Mark is with little Grey and Mark is pissed that Derek won’t let it go. Finally, Meredith has to be the mediator and tells them to shut up and make up because if they don’t, Little Grey will eat herself to death. Apparently she eats when she’s stressed out. I’m guessing that this is a way to cover up the fact that the actress who plays her is preggers. I’m interested to see how they’ll work with that!

And next week on GA:

Last of the vacations

March 30, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Again, I had another vacation and was away from the blog… well, it wasn’t really a vacation, my family was visiting from Texas and we were spending time with them so I didn’t have the opportunity to sit at my lovely computer (with a new clicky mac keyboard, by the way!) and type out some updates… so here’s a conglomeration of updates all in one post. AMAZING!

Grey’s Anatomy: Wow. Hunt totally choked Cristina! I couldn’t believe it but I had a feeling when he was staring into the ceiling fan blades that we was feeling quite murderous. I thought that Cristina would be able to handle it but in the end she was scared to fall asleep by his side and she broke up with him… of course this only happened after some sweet sexy time on their behalf. Now Hunt is going to try and get some help because he realizes that he can’t control his PTSD and needs help from Shepherd… WHO IS BACK! Derek is back to being his amazing surgeon self. He operates on Izzie and the woman survives and is tumor free. We learn that she’s tumor free when Derek is proposing to Meredith in the elevator. I think they are a really boring couple but the proposal was somewhat cute. I’m glad they ended the episode with Meredith and Cristina together. Meredith kinda happy about her engagement and Cristina torn about her break up. It was very nicely done. Other stuff that happened… Karev realized that he does want to be with Izzie and goes to be with her right after her surgery. He also spooges into a cup so that her eggs can be saved for the future since her body will be ruined and ravaged by chemo and all the other chemicals and poisons they’ll be dumping into her body after the surgery. George acts like a big baby which makes me hope that he’s leaving soon. Callie and her girlfriend are becomign boring and they’ve been together like 2 seconds. There wasn’t a preview on next week (since there isn’t an epi next week) so I have nothing to post on that.

Private Practice: Addison swears that she’s not a cheater (although she totally cheated on Derek… skank!) but she’s totally attracted to this Noah person and wants to take all her clothes off and rub up against him. Sadly, her patient, Morgan, is married to Noah which complicates thing. Addison then tries to avoid the love and raises her eyebrows a lot. Violet is jealous of Pete and Pete’s new love interest, a patient’s mother. Violet is the most boring pregnant person ever and I want her to get a DNA test done on her child so that we can know once and for all that Pete is the father. We never see Sheldon so I truly believe that Pete’s the baby daddy. Anyone disagree? Charlotte and Violet are now BFFs for some reason and it’s weird but they are spending more time together and it’s freaking out Cooper. In the end, Charlotte and Violet kinda have a weird falling out and Cooper gets Charlotte to go do the nasty (as usual). Naomi is still the same desperate woman she’s been in recent episodes and now she’s showing lots of cleavage which I find kinda gross. She’s slutting it up when her husband clearly still has feelings for her. I guess this is a reversal of what happened earlier when she was crushing on him and he was being all slutty? Boring and repetititve. Blarf. No scenes from next week since they are the same as GA.

Secret Diary of a Call Girl: Well, the season is now over for Secret Diary. First we had Belle meet a boy and fall in love with him… then he found out that she was an escort and dumped her ass… and now she’s trying to go straight so that she can get him back. In the last two episodes, he gets back together with her when she promises not to slut around anymore. Sadly, she’s tempted by an offer to have one last job and she finds out that her “last job” is actually Alex, the boyfriend. He realizes that she loves her job more than him and they break up. She ends up writing a book about the whole experience and ends up on TV saying that she’ll never give up slutting it up. Very entertaining show but I don’t think I’ll watch the next season. There’s only so much escorting they can show on a tv show. Will there even be another season?

Criminal Minds: I know this show isn’t awesome to blog about but I had a weird experience with my TiVo last week when I was watching the latest episode. I started to watch it and there’s a dude who’s starting a fire in a movie theater while there are peeps watching The Blob… It’s all very dramatic and the music is creepy… You can’t really hear voices because the music is so loud and creepy. Then they show the team talking and I still can’t hear voices. That when I realized (with my mother and sister) that there was no primary sound. There was only the background music. So I figured out how to put the closed captioning on and my mother narrated part of the show until I couldn’t handle it anymore. We ended up watching it on youtube which isn’t the best way to watch TV but whatever. It was pretty hilarious. I hope this wasn’t a TiVo problem because I’m starting to think that Tivo blows goat nuts and I wouldn’t want that to happen. I think the problem lies with Comcast, the worst cable provider on the face of the earth. They suck.

Samantha Who?: SW is back for another season. They are strangely on a Thursday night now since ABC is fucking with their Thursday lineup (weird)… In the episode, Samantha is still just as annoying as before but she’s now realized that she hearts Todd and he’s sleeping with some chick that looks pretty much exactly the way she did when she had long hair. Coincidence? I think not. Andrea is just as weird and quirky (she’s probably the best part of the entire show) and has a gay boyfriend. Eh… I think this show is losing my interest. I’m not sure if I’ll continue watching it. Anyone else watch it that might want to vouch for it?

I still have so much to watch and I promise that I’ll be sure to post more as the week goes on. Sadly, we sold our couches so I have nothing to sit on in my living room while watching TV at night. We’re getting new couches on Saturday so maybe I’ll save as much TV as I can for the weekend. We’ll see how I feel about it. :) Wish me luck on the waiting part.

Forgetful blogger

March 16, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I feel like I haven’t posted a real post in a while! Oops! I’ve been lazy lately and so I’ve let the blog go. I’ve watched a few shows lately but for some reason, I still haven’t watched Heroes from last week. What is wrong with me!?

Here are a few thoughts on a few shows that I’ve watched recently. Sorry it took so long to pull myself together to post!

  • Private Practice: Addison is now flirting with a married man… not only is he married but he’s married to one of her patients!! I was actually liking the patient AND liking the man who was flirting with her and now I’m not sure how I feel about it at all. According to the previews for next week, it seems that she’s going to want the man and she tells the patient to get a new doctor. Ethical? I don’t think so. Violet doesn’t want a paternity test because she’s a selfish biatch that is getting on my last nerve. Next week on PP:

  • Grey’s Anatomy: Izzie finally found out that she’s got some crazy cancer that has spread to her brain and that the survival rate for this cancer is only 5%. She decides to tell CRISTINA of all people. Cristina is still wanting to Owen even though he practically throws her against a wall when she interrupts one of his crazy dreams. Derek is still acting like a douchebag because he suddenly realized that he’s not God (surprise surprise!!). Meredith is still being the same boring person that she is in every single episode (I swear… if this show wasn’t called “Grey’s” Anatomy, I’d say that it was time to get rid of her).  George is the same ignored character. The chief got on my nerves for being so childish and they are ruining Bailey by making her fight with him and be just as childish as him. Oh man… I have a feeling this show isn’t going up but it’s starting to go down. They need to spice things up a bit. This episode was basically just a bunch of loose ends being tied with no interesting storyline. Boring. Get with the program! Next week on GA:

  • Law & Order: SVU: I’m tired of the Olivia Benson/Elliott Stabler show. Whatever happened to Finn and Munch? I want to see more of them and less of Benson and Stabler. They used to be way better about splitting the cases and now we’ve barely seen the two wacky sidekicks. Also, Alex Cabot, the ADA who was protected by the witness protection program came back after the last ADA (who was incredibly boring and didn’t have chemistry with anyone on the show) left to go back to Washington, DC. Alex is off her game and the cops are wondering why she didn’t come back when she got out of witness protection 3 years ago. I wonder the same thing… Oh well, we’ll see how long she lasts since they are calling her “temporary” as of now.
  • House: House and Wilson go see his brother in NYC. Wilson’s brother is off his rocker and House is kinda there for Wilson to lean on. It’s nice to see them out of the hospital. I’m not sure if that happened this week or last week! We finally got a break from watching Foreman and 13 do their thing… which makes me happy. Oh yeah, there’s a case with a man who can’t stop saying what he’s thinking.  He’s alienating his wife and child but he just can’t stop. He’s House! It’s great. I love the comedic timing that this actor has and all the jokes that were told that are basically what the rest of us are thinking but nobody says. I am really enjoying the humor that the writers try to infuse into the show. It makes it different from all the other doctor shows out there.  I can’t wait for next week’s episode:

  • Bones: I wish the people producing/directing/writing the show could figure out who they want to replace the crazy dude (Dr. Zack Addy) who went to prison for being a serial killer apprentice. Instead, every week we have a different quirky person there and we wonder “is he forever?” but he’s NOT. And then the next week we get another quirky person and bla bla bla. It’s getting old. Bones and Booth are still the same with their great chemistry. Sadly, we haven’t seen much of Angela lately and that makes me sad because she’s quite interesting. I wish they’d give her another story. I also wish that she was still with Hodgins because I think he’s the funnest person on the show. Is it me… or has there not been an episode of Bones for a while until Thursday? I can’t remember! Next week on Bones:

  • Criminal Minds: We finally got a storyline that was based around Emily Prentiss’ personal life. When she was a teen, she had an abortion and her best friend who helped her take care of it was also a Catholic. She leaned on him and it made him question his faith when the church wasn’t so cool with the abortion. In the end, the best friend was murdered during an “exorcism” by a priest who was wacko. The team then sets off to find out how they can collar this bad priest and we get to see Prentiss freak out and be the control biatch that she is. It was nice to see her in another light because she was getting pretty bland. I still like Spencer the best and hope we get another story with him soon. I also wouldn’t mind if we got a story that put Hotchner back with his wife and kid. Wouldn’t that be lovely? Next week on Criminal Minds:

I’m also needing to catch up on Law & Order, CSI: NY, CSI, Heroes, Lie to Me, and Ugly Betty… I may have missed a couple because I’m off my game. Argh!
