This week on the Bachelorette… HOMETOWN DATES! Woohoo!
First, Jillian went to visit Reid. I thought it was kinda awkward and got the impression that he wasn’t that comfortable around her. In one scene they had, he went to kiss her and she kinda turned away. Not what I expected. I think in a future episode a guy gets flustered and can’t get it up when he’s trying to romance her… and I bet it’s Reid. The family times goes well and she says that she’s leaving feeling closer to him than ever.
Then she goes to visit Michael who has an identical twin brother. Cool! They try to do the twin switch thing but she catches on pronto. The family loved her.
Next is Kypton… who’s family is apparently rich and they are also kinda pretentious from what I understand of their lasagna and wine test. It’s whatever and she goes and has a hot tub event with Kypton while his mother watches from the kitchen window. CREEPY!
Next is Jesse at his winery. I thought this was probably the coolest because the family seemed so laid back and cool. I liked the brother that was protective and cool.
Last but not least… Wes the douchebag. She goes to visit him and we got to see his band. Woohoo. Big deal. They sang a song and she creamed her pants about it. Later, she was supposed to meet his family but Jake, the pilot man, came back to tell her that Wes has a girlfriend. Her name is Laurel and Wes is a douchebag. At first Jillian believes him and confronts Wes but he totally lies and says that he’s there for the right reasons… even though he has said in the past that he’s just there for publicity. I can’t wait for her to watch this shit and see the other side of Wes the ass. She ends up trusting Wes (idiot) and going to meet his family. I honestly think his family is just as fake as him. They are trying to help him in his career and they’d do anything to make it work. Whatev. They are all trash.
Right before the rose ceremony, Jillian is hanging out in her hotel room at the Beverly Wishire hotel. Fancy! When knock, knock, knock on the door… Ed is back! He wants back in. He made a huge mistake and he’s back to win her heart. She says “coolio foolio” and lets him into the rose ceremony that night.
Rose ceremony! Reid gets the first rose (really? I thought he was out for sure!). Kypton is next (I still think he wins in the end)… then ED! Seriously! I can’t believe it! And the last rose goes to Wes. WTF! I nearly crapped my pants when she gave him the rose. What was she thinking? She must be totally into him not to see that he’s a two timing rat. I’m not looking forward to her finding out that he was lying. In the scenes from the next, he even says his “girlfriend” and then quickly corrects himself to say his “ex-girlfriend”. I don’t think that little slip was missed by Jillian. I hope she smartens up soon because this gullible shit is getting old real fast!
So Michael and Jesse went home. Sad! I thought Jesse would be a great match for her. I do think that Michael is a bit young and he’s cute so he’ll be fine… but picking Wes over Jesse was a huge mistake. She’ll regret it forever. Argh. I hope Wes’ career goes down the toilet but you know those idiot girls in Texas will be falling all over themselves to be around Wes when he’s back in Austin. Barf. Can’t wait to see who fails next week.
Melissa Rycroft, the one who was ditched by Jason after the finale of the Bachelor, is now engaged to her new boyfriend… apparently they have been dating for 2 years on and off and suddenly they are engaged. Weird. I think it sounds awfully fast but whatev!
Some cute dude from Days, Trevor Donovan, has just been cast as a hunky character on 90210. He will be playing the newer better version of Ethan. Sounds like fun! Good luck to him!
I always forget about the Secret Life of the American Teenager but it’s back. Last week was the first episode of the second season.
Many things happened in this first episode. We found out that Amy is still the same selfish little biatch that she was last season on now she has a kid that she doesn’t know how to take care of and she’s begging everyone else to do the work for her. Her mother, Anne, is preggers and her boyfriend is like WTF!?
George is being a good daddy and taking care of Ashley. He’s also the one to break the news of the baby daddyhood to David (Anne’s boyfriend) and then even takes care of John while Amy gets some selfish sleep.
Grace decides to have sex with her boyfriend (Jack) and disregards her father’s advice to wait. She refuses to talk to him and he’s on his way to Africa to do some doctor’s without borders stuff… of course, Grace’s mother comes home and tells Grace and Jack that the father died in a plane crash. The episode ends with everyone dealing with the grief of a dead family member.
Also, I’d like to mention that Ricky is stepping up. He’s still got his job, he brings meat to his lady friends, he takes care of John, he takes care of slutty girlfriend… He’s looking pretty good right now.
WTF! The role of Carlotta Vega has been recast when the actress who plays her, Patricia Mauceri, allegedly had problems with the gay storyline between Kyle and Fish. She apparently had a small part in their bromance and didn’t agree with it. It has been said that she disagreed with it on a personal level and it has also been said that she disagrees that the character of Carlotta would be so accepting of a gay relationship (as a devout Catholic). Who knows what the hell is going on right now… but she’s been recast.
I’d like to mention that she’s a 14 year veteran at OLTL and this is outrageous! WTF!
Lou Diamond won I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of here! Yeah… You know that show that took over the TV every single night?? Well, he won. I knew he would so yay.
The bachelorette has become the biggest douchebag show on earth! Wes is still on the show after getting another rose from Jillian and I am APPALLED! I can’t believe it! He has now come out and said it that he’s not there for the girl, he’s there for the publicity and honestly, I have no idea why ANYONE would buy his album after he pulled a stunt like that. Won’t the people in Texas see that this “artist” is really just a con artist? Won’t they see that he’s not worth spending the money? Argh… It’s so frustrating because the viewers get to see stuff that Jillian doesn’t get to see. I was kinda pissed that Tanner didn’t just whisper in her ear on his way out that Wes had a girlfriend. Wouldn’t that have been the perfect ending to his visit with her?
Ok… so let’s start from the beginning. The boys and Jillian go on a long train ride through the Rockies. There are some dates and some hanging out. Robby goes on the first one on one date. She doesn’t feel it so she kicks him off the train and he goes home. He was pretty boring anyway so I don’t really mind. What is with all these Texas boys this season? I’m not digging it.
Then there’s a group date where Kypton gets all slutty with Jillian (as usual) and gets the rose. At least I think he’s the one who got it. I was trying to do my stat homework at the same time as watch and I was getting really frustrated during the group date so my mind may have wandered. The group dates are boring anyway.
Then the last one on one date was with Reid. He swept her off her feet with his humble behavior and got a rose. Go him. I am pretty neurotic so I completely understand how he is. I like that she kept him around and that they have chemistry.
Then there’s the rose ceremony once the Rockies trip is over and she sends Tanner and Jake home. Strangely, I also think that Jake is perfect. Who wouldn’t want to marry a freaking airline pilot!? Anyway… she said he’s perfect and then she sends him packing. Weird!!!
Scenes from the next episode show Jake coming back and outing Wes as the one having the girlfriend. He also seems to have weaseled his way back into the rose ceremony where hopefully Wes will get what he has coming and get the ax. I also hope his career dies down and he goes to hell… Just saying…
They also showed previews for the rest of the season and there’s some drama when she’s about to pick the last dude. Someone comes back and she doesn’t know what to do. Does this all sounds familiar? Oh yeah, probably because it’s exactly what happened on the Bachelor last season. Duh! I personally think she’ll choose Kypton but I’m not sure. Not yet anyway… I’ll keep my predictions simple for now.
So there’s no official word on divorce yet but the Gosselins are separating. I called this one. Now I suspect we’ll get to watch them rebuild their marriage… they at least have to try, right???
