Random OLTL spumors that interest me

I know I’m not a spoiler poster (yet) so I think it’s a good time to start posting some of them. Of course, I will probably only post the ones that actually interest me… so here goes.

I heard a rumor that David Fumero let it slip during an interview that Melissa Gallo Fumero will be returning to OLTL for a bit. This means that Adriana (aka Bitchy Bangs) is BACK! I wish she didn’t leave because towards the end, they actually gave her a personality and I think she could have really done things with that personality. Hopefully she’ll return in the future and marry 12 more times.

Also, according to a scrip that was released, it’s safe to assume that Brody will be kidnapping Shane. I don’t know why OLTL is going to do another kidnapping storyline since the last one they had was not well received by most of the fans. Most people are on the message boards are now commenting about how much they hate Marcie now… I know that Brody is probably just going to go away after the kidnapping, but do we really have to be put through that? Why can’t Brody and Gigi just break up and Brody can hook up with Layla when she and Vincent break up (which is apparently going to happen because he cheated on her).

So I also hear that Sarah is going to be found alive… and apparently it’s going to be the same actress. Everyone seems to hate Justis (I don’t particularly like her myself) but it’s not her fault. It’s the writing.

Cole apparently gives up his parental rights to Starr’s baby. Why? Who knows… but I don’t think I can stand to watch Marcie with another baby. I hope something happens because Marcie is clearly unfit to be a parent. She’s insane and obsessive. I’m kinda glad Michael left her.

Mr. Vickers is leaving in August. Sad story!! But I’m sure he’ll be back! Maybe he plans on doing OLTL when he’s not doing DH?

Lindsay is out for a while. Viki (Erika) is going on her annual vacation so we won’t see her for like 2 months.

I also heard that they are looking to make a SoapNet show on John McBain. I think it’ll be McBoring but whatev. So many people seem to love John so I guess people will watch it. I am not interested in him at all and wish he would leave OLTL and just start his own show. That would be a relief.

Those are the only spoilers/rumors that interest me right.

Jon and Kate plus HATE!

I love me some television drama and I found out that there is apparently a “Jon and Kate plus 8 scandal!” OMG! So I was searching through wordpress for some blogs about J&K and found this one that confused me about Aunt Jodi. So I researched a bit… and guess what I found!

Apparently Aunt Jodi was asked to sign a contract in order to get paid as a recurring person on a reality TV show… and Kate freaked out and didn’t want Jodi to be paid. Keep in mind people, I do NOT know Jon, Kate, Jodi, or this woman saying that she’s Jodi’s sister. This is just me relaying the memo to you (now that I’ve gotten the memo!)

So Kate is freaking out and so Jodi tells her sister and her sister decides to start a blog that basically bashes J&K. Of course, I love the show and I have no idea what it is like to care for 8 children… actually, I have no idea what it’s like to care for one child. I’ve bookmarked this other blog because I’m curious now about this woman who says she’s blogging for her sister’s good but only says nasty things. Even if they are true, should she be writing this stuff? Is Aunt Jodi ok with the blog?

Marry me?

WTF!?

So I totally wasn’t expecting Ben to ask Amy to marry him. They are freaking 15 years old!! So they go to lunch and he magically has his lunches packed… but not really packed, they are just on plates in this basket… and apparently people carry HUGE baskets and then have only 2 plates and a bottle of soda in it. Weird. But then he asks her to marry him and she breaks down. The secret is now out. She calls herself a whore and Ben then says “You’re my whore”. I kinda laughed at that because it seems like something a teen would say… or anyone would say actually.

Everyone in the high school is gossiping about Amy’s bastard child. Uh oh! Ricky thinks he’s the father and finally goes to his therapist. I’m interested to learn more about his story but for some reason they are letting it go unexplored for now.

Grace and Jack finally fight and Jack says nasty things to her because he’s a big dumb oaf. I don’t know why he would be cruel on purpose. But I guess it’s whatever. He’s apparently with Adrian now and Ricky is kinda with Grace… except he just wants to sleep with her.

I guess it is finally going to get out that Amy’s two best friends are the ones that let the secret out in the first place even though they are hiding it from her. The brunette friend is pretty smart. She has told her from the start to go to her parents and get their help because parents are best suited to help a pregnant teen (keep that in mind, teens!)… but the redheaded girl makes me want to rip her eye balls out. She’s incredibly immature and silly. She’s the one who told Amy to marry Ben and get his money for the baby. Now when Amy asks for their help to get an abortion, she claims catholicism and thus cannot help her friend. I understand being against abortion, I wouldn’t recommend it to any friend or family of mine… BUT I still think that it serves a purpose to give women their rights. Anyway, Red won’t help her friend because she’s catholic and Brown thinks that she should talk to her parents.

And NOW… Ben Davidson (aka Dad) is sleeping with Adrian’s mom (slut) and they are apparently living together at Adrian’s apartment. Very interesting. I’m not looking forward to seeing the conversation between Amy and Adrian when that comes up later.

So that’s the scoop for now. I don’t think Amy’s going to have an abortion. If she did, the show would be over… I’m still waiting for Mom and Dad to find out and I can’t wait until they do!

Melanie?

I can’t believe it but I’m still watching DOOL. It’s not too terribly fascinating but I can’t help myself. I guess this is how you get sucked into a show. Here are my thoughts on a few of the storylines.

• Trent and Nicole… If they are still married, does this mean that her marriage to Victor wasn’t real and therefore she would have to give him his money back? I KNEW this would end up being the big secret… and why doesn’t she just get rid of him? Why is she so scared of him? Trent (aka Mitch Lawrence) is really creepy and plays a good bad guy.
• Max looking for his sister Melanie. Anyone else think that he and Melanie are twins and Trent split them up when they were kids? From the descriptions we’re heard of Melanie so far, we know that she is good with the men (Max is good with the ladies), she likes the finer things in life (Max?), she’s pretty (Max is supposed to be pretty even though I think he looks like a pig with facial hair), bla bla bla. You get the idea. I have a feeling that they are going to meet and Melanie will resent him… and while they are getting to know each other, they will discover that they have the same birthday!? What?! And then they’ll be like “what year?” and then we’ll find out that they are twins and Trent only left Max behind but took his daughter with him wherever he went after he ditched Max.
• Marlena is annoying. I fast forward through all her scenes because she’s a selfish cow. Who does she think she is going around town and bossing everyone around? She lectured Trent at the coffee shop (I would have just let it slide like the young girl did) and the way she bosses Rolf around like she controls him. WTF. It’s annoying. She’s annoying.
• EJ and Nicole. I like them together. I saw Nicole in a Burger King commercial and it made me laugh. I wish they would have EJ find out about the marriage so that he can help Nicole. Duh. EJ is HOT. They need to get on that… If not, I will totally get on that. JK.
• John and Ava. Surprisingly, I like them. Of course, I have never seen the show when John was the old version of himself. I kinda like the dry and weird John. I also like Ava even though she’s a crazy bitch.
• Sami… she’s annoying. I’m glad Lucas is in prison (or wherever he is that is sneaky).
• Chloe. She’s a slut. She’s pretty though but she has a really really really huge head for her body. It’s weird. I have a feeling they are going to make her jealous of Morgan and Phillip even though she’s the one who dumped Phillip.
• Phillip and Morgan. I kinda like it… but Phillip always seems so uncomfortable around her because he’s a backstabbing idiot. Is her accent real or fake? I can’t tell but her hair is way too long and wavy. She needs to get rid of that perm. It’s awful. Also, are they extensions?
• Victor in the hospital. I think it’s boring and I can’t stand how the family can’t see him and every time they do, he apparently goes into cardiac arrest or something weird like that.
• Dr. Dan. He’s the biggest douchebag of all the people on this show. He’s an old creepy guy dating a pretty girl and he acts like a weird pedaphile. I can’t stand him. I wish he would go away. Anyone else think that him and Kate make a better couple than him and Chelsea?
• Abe and wifey and Theo… Boring.

I think I’ve criticized enough for today. I almost feel bad about it… but not really. I’m out for now. Peace.

No more reruns for me!

I’m not sure if I want to admit it or not… but I’ve watched all the reruns of Jon and Kate plus 8 and now I’m only watching new episodes.

I’m not exactly the type to watch mothering shows like that but for some reason, the little kids are really cute and fascinate me. I guess it’s because they potentially look like children that I could have seeing as how I’m half asian and my hubby is white. So basically those little kids could look like our future kids (should that ever happen… a completely different story).

Anyway, I’ve been watching the show pretty much nonstop since I found it on TLC. I had never seen it before and I kinda liked how real Kate and Jon are. They fight like a normal couple, they love like a normal couple. It’s just refreshing to see that after you watch other shows with fairytale couples. Barf.

So I just watched the Sesame Street episode and it was cute. I like to think of this show as a birth control because I don’t want to risk having a kid and then have 6 of them at once!

There you have it, I’m finally going to start my Jon and Kate category because I’m officially hooked and I’m definitely going to start watching it consistently. Damn you cute Gosselin children!

By the way, my favorites are Leah and Alexis. They are so cute. My hubby’s favorite is Aaden. I think he just likes the glasses.

Bachelor and dudette break up

Oh yeah, just wanted to point out that the London bachelor guy broke up with his skanky girlfriend. I wonder if Jesse and DeAnna will make it…

SVU or the Closer?

Last night’s episode of The Closer seemed a lot like something out of Law and Order: SVU. I LOVE SVU but it’s so weird to see an episode of The Closer seem so similar.

It starts with a girl (I think it’s the girl from Desperate Housewives) who hanged herself in her room. I have no idea why BLJ is there since it’s obviously not a murder. Then the CPT comes in and asks Brenda to check out some video of the girl confessing that someone raped her… Of course, the rapist’s dad is at the top of the food chain with the sherriffs’ office so the kid gets off on the rape.

So apparently a week has gone by and the CPT hasn’t done anything to report the kid for rape even though the girl gave the information. Anyway, after a week of nothing from the CPT (bad!!) the girl kills herself.

The episode then starts going through all the other people that could have been involved and they are treating her suicide as a murder. They arrest all of the rapist’s friends and have them confess to stuff. They convince one kid that he’s the suspect but he’s not. They get the dad all overexcited (is he a Baldwin because he sounds like one but doesn’t look like one…) And in the end, the kid confesses that he raped her but didn’t kill her. And so now they can get the rape charges to stick even though the victim is dead.

HOWEVER!!! There’s another victim that came forward at the last minute and she’s going to make the rapist’s charges stick and she’s going to send that bugger to jail.

Doesn’t that sound like something on SVU???

I will say though, both Mariska Hargitay and Kyra Sedgwick were nominated for Emmy’s this year. Go them!

50/50 chance

Well, I just watched the Mole and I’m not surprised. Paul went home. I have a love/hate thing going on with Paul. I love to hate him. He’s so annoying. But I also hate that I love him because he’s so funny and he gets everyone else riled up. Anyway, he’s gone now. He failed his quiz. I still stand by my guess that Mark is the mole. He got the exemption this time.

Nicole could also be the mole though because she acts so strangely. She wanted to go home but she didn’t… maybe because she CAN’T go home?? Can’t because she’s the mole? Who knows. She also kept saying that she thought she was going to go home but then Paul did… so maybe she was just doing that to make him think that he wasn’t going home but then to crush him.

Well, next week is the finale. We’ll find out who’s lying. Nicole? Mark? Craig? I hope Craig wins the money since Nicole already makes lots of dough as a doctor and I think Mark is the mole. That’s my guess.

Voting time!!

I am pretty disappointed that America is voting for the last episode of Design Star. I find it kinda silly that the public only gets a chance to vote on the last 2. What about all the others??

Anyway, yesterday was the final designing day and Jennifer and Matt flew to NOLA to design 3 rooms for deserving families there. I think that the pairing of the families and the designers was very well done. Jennifer probably would have done the best job with something flashy and dramatic and I think Matt was best fit to do the minimalist home. Overall, I think the producers of the show made a good decision and in a way gave the families the best advantage although I think it would have been more challenging for Matt to do the dramatic and Jennifer to do the minimalist stuff.

I was also happy that Mikey V. and Trish came back to help their teammates. I was UBER surprised when Matt wasn’t selfish and let Mikey V. go to Jennifer first because she didn’t have any kitchen experience. It was really nice of him and I think Jennifer was relieved.  In case you haven’t read about the Mikey V. scandal, here is the link. It’s a shame really…

SHARK WEEK

I’ve never really had a thing for Shark Week… but being the summer and being bored, I’m going to try and watch it nearly all day tomorrow with the hubby. I LOVE nature shows so it should be fun. What is the big deal about Shark Week anyway? Can anyone enlighten me?
