Wes is gone!

July 7, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I know I posted that silly blog article before this post but I couldn’t help it.

So this week the boys are in Spain with Jillian. They are all going on dates with her and then the evening ends with the possibility of a fantasy suite. Here’s how it all went down:

Kiptyn went first. I can never spell his name correctly so… sorry! He’s all perfect and does his magical thing with Jillian. They have a good date and go dancing. She’s all happy and then the fantasy date card comes and she tells him that she’s not ready. He takes it like a man and is all cool about it. They go back, cuddle and then he leaves.

Reid is next. He and Jillian go on a picnic and we get to hear their spanish and how terrible it is. They have a crappy lunch (because they don’t speak spanish) and then they have dinner. I totally think that Reid is in love but he’s not ready to admit it. The fantasy card comes and she declines saying she’s not ready. He’s totally cool with it and that’s awesome.

Ed is next. He has a horse drawn carriage ride and lots of talking. Then they have dinner and more talking. They talked so much that I did some work while watching. All that talking is boring. Then the card comes and she tells him that she’s not ready and declines the fantasy suite with him. His face said he was devastated and not too happy about it but he covered and acted all cool about it. They ended up staying together that night so that they could “catch up”. I hope it worked!

Wes is last. He’s also a douchebag. He doesn’t touch Jillian or anything during their entire date. They hang out and don’t touch. Then they go to dinner. They continue to act weird and Jillian finally brings up that he’s acting like a douche and wants to know about his girlfriend business. He accidentally lets it slip that he has a girlfriend and then quickly corrects himself to say that it was his ex-girlfriend and then she’s like “WTF! I’m outta here!” The fantasy card comes at the worst possible moment and then she tells him hell no. He goes home and is all “Whatever!”

Rose ceremony!

The boys stand there looking nervous as usual. They have normal man banter and Wes says that if he leaves he wants the guys to know that he’s having a lot of sex in Austin. Ew. I don’t even want to think about that. He’s disgusting!

Jillian comes and the roses start being passed out. Ed first. Really? I thought Kiptyn would be first. Then Reid… and then Kiptyn thinks he might go home and looks all sad… but Wes congratulates him and said “it ain’t me” because he’s an uneducated dumbass. Kiptyn gets the rose and Wes goes home. Jillian says goodbye and she’s kinda sad but she knows that he’s a douche. Wes gets into the limo and then celebrates that he’s the only guy in bachelorette history who got to the last 4 with a girlfriend! What a dumbass! I am so glad he’s gone.

Next time the boys go to Hawaii. Did I hear correctly that the next episode is in 3 weeks? WTF? I think it’s between Kiptyn and Reid now. I hope it’s Reid because I’m neurotic like him but I bet it’s Kiptyn.

Bachelorette admits she wasn’t too bright

Jillian has finally admitted that she kept Wes around for too long. She didn’t come out and say that he’s a douchebag like we all know but she realized that he wasn’t “the one” and got rid of his ugly face.

Awesome interview

Jake, the awesome Dallas pilot on the Bachelorette, gave an interview with people.com which I find very interesting. Check it out below!

The Bachelorette’s Jake: Wes & Laurel Are Still Together

July 2, 2009

Dallas pilot Jake Pavelka, 31, didn’t make a love connection with The Bachelorette’s Jillian Harris, but cared enough to crash Wes’s hometown date to confess what he knew about “Girlfriendgate.” He spoke with reporters about why he believes Wes had — and still has! — a girlfriend, who he thinks is right for Jillian and the possibility of starring on the next Bachelor. – Carrie Bell

Why did you come back?
A producer called me to see if I was doing okay because I took leaving hard and I broke down. [I said,] “I need to tell her some things. Any way I could talk to her again?” I ran through it and they made it happen. I was lying in bed every morning going, “I screwed up. I should have told her before I left.” I wanted to come back because I had information she needed to make the best decisions about the remaining guys and to be there for her. Now I sleep easy at night.

PEOPLE spoke to Laurel and she denied being together during taping. Do you stand by what you claimed, that Wes said he had a girlfriend?
I don’t believe it. I know it. Without a shadow of a doubt, he and Laurel were together. They’re still together. It’s an act and Laurel was in cahoots with him. They had an agreement to put their relationship on the back-burner so he could go on and sell CDs. His biggest fear was making it far enough to go on overnight dates because that wasn’t okay with Laurel. Evidently she cleared [him] to kiss. I’m a God-fearing man and if I am mistaken or he didn’t tell me that, God can strike me down with lightning right now.

Are you there?
Yeah. Still here! We had multiple conversations. He confided with me. He told me he loved [Laurel]. He said, “I’m going to break her heart. I’m going to bow out when the time is right.” This stuff came out of his mouth.

Do you think it’s possible that he is developing feelings for her as the weeks go on?
No. I think Wes’s motivation is to move CDs. Wes had her snowed. The girl loves country music and the man makes it so I can see how intriguing that would be.

Did you get along with Wes?
I don’t think he’s a bad guy. I don’t hate him. I’m hopeful at some point we can be friends. He’s probably having a hard time right now, but it’s hard to be sympathetic because he lied to my face and Jillian’s.

Have you regretted your decision to go Austin?
Absolutely not. I care about the girl. She’s looking to fall in love. With Wes, it was going to be an uphill battle. He won’t put a ring on her finger. I know that Jillian would have done that for me had the roles been reversed. I would have done [it for] Wes.

Dave thought snitches violated “Man Code.” Are you a violator?
I don’t believe in guy code. That’s just a fancy way of saying, “Lie for me, bro!” That ‘bros before hos’ crap … BS! I made a point to let people know that if I found out, I would tell her.

Thoughts on Ed’s return?
Thank God something good happened after I devastated her and she had such a bad week. I could tell she was glowing inside because Ed came back. They clicked. Ed’s a super nice guy, an open book.

Do you think you were you the one for her?
I don’t think I was her type. I do believe I could have made her happy.

Who is the right guy for her?
Kiptyn is a solid guy. He doesn’t tell her things just to stay. [They’d] make a pretty cute couple.

There’s a petition out there to make you the next Bachelor. Would you consider it?
After seeing how the show works and how much love the producers have in their work, I would consider. It’s a terrific way to find somebody.

If you do, what are you looking for in a woman?
I’ve dated a type of girl my whole life that has kept me single. The girl that won’t call back or plays lot of games. They’re fun and keep you on your toes, but not the type you end up marrying. I would go after girls that I don’t consider my type.

Gullible Bachelorette episode

June 30, 2009 · Leave a Comment

This week on the Bachelorette… HOMETOWN DATES! Woohoo!

First, Jillian went to visit Reid. I thought it was kinda awkward and got the impression that he wasn’t that comfortable around her. In one scene they had, he went to kiss her and she kinda turned away. Not what I expected. I think in a future episode a guy gets flustered and can’t get it up when he’s trying to romance her… and I bet it’s Reid. The family times goes well and she says that she’s leaving feeling closer to him than ever.

Then she goes to visit Michael who has an identical twin brother. Cool! They try to do the twin switch thing but she catches on pronto. The family loved her.

Next is Kypton… who’s family is apparently rich and they are also kinda pretentious from what I understand of their lasagna and wine test. It’s whatever and she goes and has a hot tub event with Kypton while his mother watches from the kitchen window. CREEPY!

Next is Jesse at his winery. I thought this was probably the coolest because the family seemed so laid back and cool. I liked the brother that was protective and cool.

Last but not least… Wes the douchebag. She goes to visit him and we got to see his band. Woohoo. Big deal. They sang a song and she creamed her pants about it. Later, she was supposed to meet his family but Jake, the pilot man, came back to tell her that Wes has a girlfriend. Her name is Laurel and Wes is a douchebag. At first Jillian believes him and confronts Wes but he totally lies and says that he’s there for the right reasons… even though he has said in the past that he’s just there for publicity. I can’t wait for her to watch this shit and see the other side of  Wes the ass. She ends up trusting Wes (idiot) and going to meet his family. I honestly think his family is just as fake as him. They are trying to help him in his career and they’d do anything to make it work. Whatev. They are all trash.

Right before the rose ceremony, Jillian is hanging out in her hotel room at the Beverly Wishire hotel. Fancy! When knock, knock, knock on the door… Ed is back! He wants back in. He made a huge mistake and he’s back to win her heart. She says “coolio foolio” and lets him into the rose ceremony that night.

Rose ceremony! Reid gets the first rose (really? I thought he was out for sure!). Kypton is next (I still think he wins in the end)… then ED! Seriously! I can’t believe it! And the last rose goes to Wes. WTF! I nearly crapped my pants when she gave him the rose. What was she thinking? She must be totally into him not to see that he’s a two timing rat. I’m not looking forward to her finding out that he was lying. In the scenes from the next, he even says his “girlfriend” and then quickly corrects himself to say his “ex-girlfriend”. I don’t think that little slip was missed by Jillian. I hope she smartens up soon because this gullible shit is getting old real fast!

So Michael and Jesse went home. Sad! I thought Jesse would be a great match for her. I do think that Michael is a bit young and he’s cute so he’ll be fine… but picking Wes over Jesse was a huge mistake. She’ll regret it forever. Argh. I hope Wes’ career goes down the toilet but you  know those idiot girls in Texas will be falling all over themselves to be around Wes when he’s back in Austin. Barf. Can’t wait to see who fails next week.
